Construction Update January: CasaNooga

I was in Chattanooga a couple of weeks ago and was super excited to see all of the construction progress on CasaNooga! My trip was scheduled so that I could be on site with my clients for “pre-rough-in” meetings with the electrical, mechanical and plumbing subcontractors. As you may remember from a previous What To Expect post we shared about the Hyde Park House, the “pre-rough-in” site visit means long coordination discussions around placement of lights, vents, and systems, and lots of talk about “lining things up!

We are working with an excellent – and highly collaborative – team of contractors so, as usual, the construction process for CasaNooga has been a lot of fun. The house has come so far since our last construction update – and the best part is that the wall of windows in the living room was installed the day I was on site. So much fun to watch those go in!

CasaNooga Under Construction

Some pretty amazing views of Chattanooga, huh?! “As demonstrated by the name our clients chose for their home, this playful project is all about its site within the beautiful city of Chattanooga. This new home sits perched above the Walnut Street Bridge in North Chattanooga, overlooking their favorite cultural and historical icons in downtown, from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to Lookout Mountain and beyond.” – from our CasaNooga project description.
