We are thrilled to be starting construction on two projects this month – BC Retreat and Kaat Cliffs. We broke ground on these two projects nearly simultaneously and couldn’t wait to share their progress, so we’ve decided to do a double update this week.
BC Retreat, located in Saugerties, is a double barn structure that separates private and public spaces and features views of the Catskills. The project is being built by Larsen Builders, who have been busy digging into the construction documents and confirming lots of details with our office. We staked out the house in early October after land was cleared, and are excited to watch as it progresses! You can learn more about BC Retreat in our Behind the Design post from June.
Kaat Cliffs, also located in Saugerties, was featured in our Behind the Design post last week. This single story home will showcase views of staggering cliffs behind the home as well as a phenomenal view of the Hudson Valley. We’re proud to say that the project is being construction managed by our very own Eric Hart! Last week, Eric and our clients were able to be on site to do a stake out of the house on cleared land. Soon enough we’ll be pouring concrete and be well on our way.
We’re looking forward to sharing more about both of these projects as we progress through construction. We’ve had many requests for more time lapse videos of our projects so those will also be coming soon!
