Many elements of BC Retreat are coming together and the home is really beginning to take shape. It has been a while since we last shared photos on the blog but if you’ve been keeping up with our Facebook and Instagram you know that most of the construction for the main home is complete. On the back of the home, we still have some finishing touches for the screened in porch. In addition, the pool house is in the middle of construction with the interior framing being installed.
We were able to stop by last week – BC Retreat has such a stunning site especially at this time of year! Check out our Behind the Design post for more info on how we used the site to influence the design of this barn-style home.
The screened in porch is still in the process of being screened and having the stonework on the fireplace installed. The fireplace will replicate the stonework from the interior side, continuing the conversation between interior and exterior.
Across from the screened in porch are the pool and pool house. The pool house will include a gym, storage room, and bathroom. Currently, the windows have been installed as well as the interior framing.
Inside the main home, the kitchen countertops have been delivered and are being installed. We love the super thick edge on the waterfall island!
Every time we visit more and more is happening on site and we are so excited by how it is coming together! There are so many details and special moments throughout this home that we are looking forward to sharing more of in the future.
