Our last construction update for 8 Oaks was more than a year ago, so we thought it’s about time to give you an update on this project in Tampa, Florida!
The last time we posted, masonry was in place, most of the steel beams had been installed and second floor framing had just started. Since then, we’ve been down to the site a number of times to coordinate window details, finesse the catwalk adjacent to the curtain wall, and to work with our clients to select finish materials.
The windows for the curtain wall and lower level were shipped to the site from Germany and arrived in September of last year. This past week, the window installation team was able to install the first panes of glass. We’re excited to the see the full curtain wall in person the next time we are down in Florida!
