“Growing up my grandmother took me to art museums and contemporary art galleries and was a big supporter of emerging local artists. My mother is an engineer and an extremely practical and motivated woman. Both my grandmother and my mother are a great inspiration for me in life and in work.”
— Marica McKeel, in an interview with Novedge

Inspiration for our projects comes from our clients. During our design process we find that often the best way to communicate ideas is through images, and therefore one of our favorite “tools” is Pinterest. Our Pinterest Boards are full of images from our clients and for our clients, and is a constant source of inspiration for our work.

From a recent interviewQ: Where do you find inspiration?   Marica: “..As far as design goes I find inspiration in creating things, in watching something get built, in building things myself. I compiled this video of the building of the Creek House- (one of our first single-family projects) – and I love it. It’s exciting to me, still, every time I watch it.”
