This week’s Architectural Record 2015 Women in Architecture Awards recognized 5 women who are doing amazing things in architecture.
Acknowledge, Encourage + Celebrate Women in Architecture
The goal of AR’s annual awards program is to “acknowledge the increasingly visible role of women in the profession; to encourage firms to promote women architects and their work; and to provide an opportunity for women in the field to come together to celebrate their contributions to the design of the built environment.” – Architectural Record
I am extremely proud to be an architect. I am also very proud to promote women who are making a difference in our profession. Thanks to Architectural Record for the opportunities and the encouragement! and Congratulations to each of the 5 women who won this year’s awards. Thank you all for making great strides already in architecture. “Standing on the shoulders of giants…” as the saying goes…
Cheers!
