We are sharing inspiration of a different kind today as we explore modern homes in an urban setting – much different than our recent settings in the middle of the woods.
As you’ve probably seen on our Instagram or Facebook pages, we are working on a new project in Chattanooga and it’s very much in the city. So, as we are designing, we have to think of a broader spectrum than just the home itself… How does the house respond to the neighbors 10′ away?, How do the front door and front porch address the street and neighborhood?, How do we open up to views but maintain privacy for our clients?….and so on. The beautiful images below are just a few of the modern homes we’ve used as inspiration for our designs and as illustrations for communicating various ideas to our clients.
