Residential Design Inspiration: Modern Fireplaces

With all of us spending more time at home these days and with winter just around the corner, we’ve been dreaming up fireplace designs for a variety of current projects. Each of our clients wants something slightly different, and as evidenced by our past posts on fireplaces, there are many different directions to go in – from being a central spatial element, to fireplaces that are cozy, to ones that that are just plain impressive.

This time around, we’re sharing a few that are cozy, a few that are impressive, and some that are both. We’re using many of these as inspiration for our current projects and are excited to share how the designs develop in later posts. We sure would like to curl up and read a good book next to some of these!
