House for an Artist and a Writer
We are working on a very unique project for which the word “creative” is absolutely the main inspiration. Our clients, one a writer and the other an artist, have asked us to design 2 separate studios to inspire their creative minds at work. On top of this already fun-to-design project, the plan is to renovate an existing garage into the “Artist’s Garage” and an old chicken coop into the “Writer’s Coop.”

House on Porcupine Road
A modern renovation of a traditional cottage located in the Catskill Mountains, the “Porcupine House” has been one of our favorite interior renovation projects so far. Our design blends old with new – highlighting the traditional wood structure and adding key modern elements to the house by opening up the floor plan and connecting the interior spaces both horizontally and vertically. As a response to our clients’ desire for more “curb appeal” for her home, we recently expanded the renovation to the exterior with an addition of a new front entryway and mudroom/laundry room.
