In honor of Valentine’s Day, today we are going to continue our annual Love Home post tradition and talk about all the things we love about home! We’ve asked the question in the past, “What makes a house a home?” – well, I think the vignettes below answer that question pretty well. Happy Valentine’s Day!
The thing I love most about being a residential architect is seeing how much my clients LOVE their homes. I was just down in Chattanooga and got to hear how excited my clients are about their new home under construction. We walked through and talked about how they were going to live in many of the spaces, and they said, more than once, how much they already love their home. The best conversation though was with their son and daughter about how they’d like to decorate their bedrooms. Seeing the excitement in their eyes as they talked about their home is what makes me truly LOVE what I do.
