Very happy to report that construction is moving right along on Farm BnB! Exterior framing is up, interior framing is almost complete; plumbing, electrical and mechanical rough-ins are going in; and the roof will be next!
Behind the scenes we’re coordinating systems with the contractors and selecting final finish colors for the exterior cladding. Since the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary has officially named it “The Gray Barn Inn” we will obviously be working with gray finishes. We are considering a dark gray stain for the main structure and black or lighter gray cladding for the modern dormers. We’ll get samples made of a few grays so we can put all the finishes together – cladding, roof, windows.. – and make a final decision soon. I love this part of the project when it’s all finally coming together!
