It’s hard to believe that we haven’t yet done a construction update on South Mountain House! As we wrote about in our Behind the Design post back in November, this multi-leveled home located in Gardiner follows the sloping site and creates two terraced tiers that look out across the landscape. A lot has happened since
Winter in upstate New York this year has been snowy, cold and somewhat unforgiving – but that doesn’t mean that we are slowing down on BC Retreat. We were able to get the foundation poured prior to serious winter weather, which means that we are able to continue framing work throughout the next few months.
This month we are sharing an update on one of our very own construction management projects, Kaat Cliffs. Things have been moving along steadily at the site in Saugerties – we are looking forward to starting framing very soon. A lot has happened since our last update – and a lot of work involving heavy
We are very excited to share a construction update for a project that has been in the works for a few years. Gardiner Farmhouse is a modern home for a growing family that craves a deep connection with the outdoors. Sited on farmland, the home takes inspiration from two barn structures already located on the
A couple of weekends ago, the whole Studio MM team was able to make it up to the BC Retreat site in Saugerties for a socially-distanced site visit. There was lots to see! Everyone on site has been hard at work and we were able to see the results of the first concrete pour –
We are thrilled to be starting construction on two projects this month – BC Retreat and Kaat Cliffs. Even though things have slowed down significantly – and construction on single-family homes has almost completely come to a halt in NY State – I’m
Construction is moving along quickly at Tranquil Abiding and the house is looking great! (Check out all of the progress since our last Construction Update post in December.) The goal is for this project to be complete by the middle of April – if not sooner – so things are finishing up fast. It’s certainly fun to
I’m very excited to share that our CasaNooga project in Chattanooga, TN is almost complete! There are some minor interior and exterior finish details to finalize, but overall the house is looking super! …and that’s a pretty spectacular view – don’t you agree!! 🙂 I look forward to going back for the final punch-list visit
We’ve come a long way since our last Construction Update for Tranquil Abiding in September. The masons have been hard at work crafting, cutting, chiseling, and precisely laying out each stone on the exterior. The stonework is truly a work of art, and we are extremely grateful that our team of masons are such skilled artisans.
