Our culture at Studio MM is fueled by the off-site adventures we take about twice a year. These 2-day retreats are oriented around personal and professional growth sessions and team-building activities. I try to make sure these are inspiring, thoughtful, and most of all collaborative.
A couple of weeks ago we headed up to the Hudson Valley for our first off-site of 2019. One of the highlights was being able to stay IN the Modern Accord Depot, and most of the team got to sleep in the super-cool bunk room! We spent 2 days talking about positive moments, proudest moments, and goals for the year ahead. We visited a few of our projects under construction, cooked some creative pizzas over the fire late into the evening, and built the kitchen table and benches we designed for the Depot. Having FUN to say the least!
…and in true Studio MM form, we put together a video to share our activities! Disclaimer: this video is just a bit longer than many we create, but my team deserves it! We worked our *hands* off to put this table + 6 benches together, and we are damn proud of the finished product!
