At the beginning of November we took our most epic team offsite thus far. Marica was really excited to share with us a place that is especially dear to her – Boca Grande. A small island off of the coast of Tampa, Florida, Boca Grande is a sandy, sunny paradise. We especially enjoyed the sunny weather after the oncoming cold weather in New York!
As you probably know, Marica and Studio MM prioritize having and building a collaborative team. We try to do team offsites every six months – after an extended pause on gathering during Covid, our last offsite was in upstate New York last June. This time, we all flew down to Tampa together and then spent five days discussing goals and values, looking at profitability, discussing how to run development projects and brainstorming the future of our team. We also had lots of fun and some down time. Each of us had a free morning to explore the beach, take golf cart runs to town, or have some quiet coffee and reading time.
