As we continue designing and have projects under construction, many of our clients want lively outdoor spaces. Whether to host guests, family, or to capitalize being in the outdoors, outdoor kitchens are often part of the scope of our designs. Some outdoor kitchens are protected by a roof while others are not; either way they need to be able to withstand harsh winters to be enjoyed during the spring and summer months. While we’ve made many firepits and fireplaces for our houses, for this post we will be highlighting more fully equipped outdoor kitchen spaces.
We are in the later part of construction for Shokan Scapes, our landscape and outdoor space renovation, which has an Argentine grill and pizza oven. House 222 will also have an outdoor kitchen – this one will have a roof and retractable screens to keep the bugs out.
When we work with clients we like to use inspiration images to help them imagine their home as we go over plans. Here are some inspirational outdoor kitchens that we’ve been looking at and love!
