Residential Architecture Inspiration: CRAN 2019

Last week my team and I attended the CRAN Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona and we had a blast!

CRAN, which stands for Custom Residential Architect’s Network, is a “Knowledge Community” of the AIA (American Institute of Architects)  for residential architects to get together and do what we do best: talk about architecture. Each year CRAN hosts a Symposium in a different beautiful city so that architects can experience local architecture, learn more about residential design, network with peers, and – my favorite event of the Symposium – tour amazing homes and speak with the architects who designed them.

It was an inspiring few days. I was thrilled to be able to bring my team along this year – we all had a lot of fun and have been talking about the sessions and the architecture since we got back. To give you a sense of what this Symposium about architecture means we’re sharing a few photos and a video of highlights from our trip to Scottsdale. Hope you enjoy it half as much as we did!
