2 Modern Fireplaces – Complement or Compete?
One of our current projects requires 2 fireplaces, both to be major design features. One is an exterior fireplace that will double as a wood-fired grill, and the other is a focal point in the interior space.
The house is not large and both fireplaces are essentially part of the main living area. We have ended up with two very different styles- one rustic, one refined, and, I think, both spectacular.
When we first started designing, we thought the look should be similar…. Many images and lots of inspiration later, we have 2 very different designs that “speak” the same language. Parlez vous fireplace?
