Perched at the top of a magnificently staggered cliff, Aurora nestles itself within the landscape while simultaneously giving guests and owners breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountains. Inspired by the surrounding rock faces, the house commands its lush green clearing with a site-sourced rock plinth. The main second story open-plan living space is enclosed in a continuous glass façade, maximizing views of the valley and seamlessly combining the indoor and outdoor spaces. This main space is divided by an impressive open riser stair, which provides a direct connection to the cliff face at the rear of the house. Ultimately, Aurora strives to maximize views of its beautiful site while providing clients with the ultimate entertaining and relaxation retreat.
