We’ve come a long way since our last Construction Update for Tranquil Abiding in September. The masons have been hard at work crafting, cutting, chiseling, and precisely laying out each stone on the exterior. The stonework is truly a work of art, and we are extremely grateful that our team of masons are such skilled artisans. Windows have been installed, Ipe siding is almost completed, insulation is in, and plumbing and electrical rough-ins are underway. Interior finishes are being finalized, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and closets are being fabricated, and our clients are making great progress on interior furnishings as well. So much fun!
We are sharing photos from the last few months of site visits below – hope you enjoy!
A Modern Stone House Under Construction in Upstate NY
The masons are using a mix of stone from the site and stone brought in from outside to achieve the natural yet modern stone look we want for the house. We love that a large portion of the exterior cladding was literally found on site or dug up during the excavation for the foundation and driveway.
