Field + Supply is a “Modern Makers Craft Fair” that is held in the Hudson Valley twice a year. It started 5 years ago as a small modern craft fair and has grown significantly in makers and attendees. It’s one of my favorite events in the Hudson Valley and something I look forward to each year. This year Studio MM is a proud sponsor of the event, and this means we too get to present who we are and what we do. What fun!
……and with all that fun comes a LOT of prep!
For the last six weeks, our team has been brainstorming presentation ideas, generating computer models for 3d printing, laying out contour lines for laser cutting topography models, critiquing and perfecting our presentation boards, and designing our display space. We’ve spent the last 2 weekends upstate at TinkerBox bringing it all together – making models of architecture and landscape, building our display boxes, and painting everything including the people. Yes, always a lot of fun!
